Interstate Power System's Carol Stream Illinois location is looking for an Outside Parts and Service Sales Representative. Outside Parts and Service Sales Representatives play a critical role in our operations. They are responsible for increasing Parts and Service Sales with existing accounts and prospecting for new accounts in their assigned territory. They solicit new business and maintain accounts through face-to-face and phone contacts, developing networks and industry contacts, promoting our value-added products and services, and keeping customer satisfaction a priority.
A company vehicle, laptop and cell phone will be provided with this position.

Responsibilities
The primary duties of this position will be to actively promote parts and service sales of our heavy-duty equipment lines in the assigned territory.
Actively identify and develop new customer contacts to expand market share and sales of parts and services.
Assist customers in solving problems and provide technical support.
Act as a liaison between the customer and company as needed to ensure that the customer needs are adequately met.
Qualifications
Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
A self-starter who can identify the strengths present in a location and utilize those strengths to develop a positive business plan.
Proven background in sales
Clear driving record
Available for overnight travel
Requirements
High school degree or equivalent required
3+ years recent/relevant experience with outside sales
Experience in distribution, industrial and/or heavy equipment a plus
