Eurofins Buffalo Environment Testing Northeast, LLC is searching for a

Regional Account Manager

to support growth in the New York Upstate region. The Regional Account Manager is an outside sales role that identifies new opportunities and manages accounts to target municipal, industry, and consultant segments, with goals to maximize market share, profitability, competitive advantage, and capacity utilization in the environmental analytical services market. The role requires establishing and maintaining productive relationships with Eurofins Environment Testing clients, communicating services clearly, and acquiring new accounts to sustain growth. The position targets business development and growth within 150 miles of Upstate New York and requires about 75% travel time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, qualify, track, and close leads/new business opportunities to grow revenue in the municipal market segment and meet company and individual goals. Establish and maintain productive working relationships between the client and laboratory across sales management, inside business development, technical, and project management staff. Ensure customer awareness of Eurofins Buffalo Laboratories Environment Testing capabilities and services to improve selling opportunities. Monitor accounts receivable status for assigned accounts and resolve collection issues as required. Develop and recommend strategies for pricing, bid/no bid decisions, Master Service agreements, and budgetary information. Report sales activity within the assigned area via CRM system and reports. Maintain productive relationships between customers and the Eurofins Environment Testing organization. Identify key target markets and major accounts and develop strategies to attain market position and profitability. Establish, coordinate, negotiate, and complete contracts with support from legal and Sales Director. Collect and document information to establish pricing and evaluate capability to meet customer requirements to meet win/loss ratios, discount percentages, and profitability. Effectively communicate customer needs to Eurofins Environment Testing. Communicate all business opportunities (bids, quotes, proposals, pricing inquiries) to the internal team to initiate and compete quotes and proposals and close sales. Control expenses related to the selling function in line with company policy. Provide forecasting information to Customer Service Managers to assist operational planning. Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications: BS/BA in Sciences or related field 5-10 years of progressively successful sales experience in a service industry Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Ability to travel up to 75% of the time Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, and speak) Ideal Candidates will have: Lab experience and exposure to environmental industry or degree in science a plus Selling skills including prospect identification, interviewing, negotiating, and closing; training available for the right candidate Working computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with lab functions and terminology, or ability to learn Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and planning skills Additional Information

Position is full-time, with typical hours Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with occasional evening networking or social commitments. Starting base salary is $70–$85K, with an additional commission plan, bi-weekly car allowance, and full benefits package.
