This is a field-sales opportunity within Abbott’s FreeStyle products and the Diabetes Care division. What You’ll Do
Meet or exceed sales quotas/objectives for the FreeStyle Libre portfolio. Leverage company-generated targets to prospect new business and close for new sales in expanded marketplaces. Collaborate with channels across HCP, Managed Care, Retail, and Point of Care organizations. Establish strong relationships with internal and external health care constituents (e.g., physicians, nurses, pharmacists, CDEs, etc.). Act with purpose and urgency, engaging in a friendly, respectful manner; focus on others’ needs and motivate change. Keep current on internal and competitive products and position by utilizing available resources. Develop proficiency in the company’s sales model to ensure product adoption and utilization along the buying cycle. Understand and convey information professionally and accurately. Develop business plans based on current trends and goals, including short- and long-term actions; stay current on market trends and competitor strategy. Deliver sales results in the primary care market and, as assigned, in endocrinology; drive broad awareness and education of CGM and the FreeStyle Libre brand. Position products and services using appropriate resources with confident, convincing logic. Tailor the sales approach to meet customer needs with appropriate resources. Handle objections, explore perspectives, and address them tactfully. Develop and implement plans (territory, account, and call) with goals, action plans, timelines and resources. Convey information clearly and concisely; listen to understand. Regularly track and report progress against plan; adjust as necessary. Complete all administrative tasks accurately and timely; document activities using the call reporting/tracking system. Maintain accountability for all samples in accordance with division guidelines and quality/compliance standards. Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system. This role covers the territory from Norman, OK to Frisco, TX to McKinney, TX to Prosper, TX to Allen, TX to Sherman, TX. Qualifications
Required Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required Minimum of 1-3 years of prior sales experience with a successful track record Excellent communication, high energy, integrity, and ambition to succeed Preferred: sales experience in the healthcare industry Preferred: B2B sales experience Preferred: established primary care HCP relationships Strong work ethic What We Offer
