Job Description
Preconstruction Planning & Management
Lead preconstruction for data center and mission-critical projects. Develop budgets, estimates, and schedules from concept through design. Create scopes-of-work and coordinate with design teams. Conduct constructability reviews and recommend solutions. Prepare cost models, value engineering, and risk plans. Coordinate with estimating teams on proposals and bid packages. Maintain schedules aligned with project milestones. Ensure compliance with safety, standards, and company policies Client & Business Development
Build and maintain client relationships. Support presentations, proposals, and interviews. Identify new data center opportunities with business development. Strengthen proposals with strategic input. Subcontractor & Partner Management
Build strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors. Prequalify subcontractors and ensure alignment with project needs. Manage bid processes, scope reviews, and selections. Facilitate communication across all stakeholders. Team & Office Collaboration
Coordinate with engineering, design, estimating, and project teams. Share resources and best practices across offices. Promote collaboration and continuous improvement. Risk & Value Management
Identify and mitigate project risks. Review designs for constructability and cost-efficiency. Present reports, proposals, and cost analyses. The Successful Applicant
Minimum of 3-5 years of preconstruction experience within the Mission Critical commercial construction industry (5+ years preferred). Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering preferred. Prior experience in Mission Critical projects is required; industry hires with relevant experience are also highly valued. Strong understanding of cost estimation, scheduling, and project planning. Proficiency with Destini Estimating software. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Bluebeam, and various project management tools (Destini software is a big plus). Willingness and ability to travel to multiple job sites as needed. What's on Offer
