Overview
Generate contracts and BEOs in support of Catering Managers.
Support daily distribution of BEOs, reader boards and change logs.
Email correspondence directed by managers as needed.
Maintenance of computer data for Sales Department including updating and troubleshooting.
Prepare and process purchase orders and check requests.
Handles negotiations with meeting planners and generate Banquet Event Orders based on agreed contractual terms.
Maintain excellent working relationship from initial lead call through follow up solicitation and maintain contact with all support departments, including banquets and functions room departments until event conclusion.
Conduct property tours to promote facilities and services.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1-2 years hotel experience preferred; front desk experience highly desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including leading and participating in formal presentations.
Effective problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work with little or no supervision and be a self-starter.
Marriott CI experience strongly preferred.
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidential information.
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
