We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record of successful sales and sales management, and a deep understanding of outside sales. The Sales Manager will be responsible for implementing effective sales activities within the assigned area and ensuring execution of agreed-upon sales strategies. These strategies will be implemented with the aim of fostering strong relationships with clients and meeting their needs while increasing revenue generation for the area. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Take initiative and work hard to find and develop leads, make calls, close deals, and solidify long-term customer relationships. Cement Products are defined as White and Gray Bulk Cement to manufacturers and distributors. Other products could be included in the future. Customer targets are Block-CMU manufacturers, stucco/tile manufacturers, some ready-mix concrete companies, and any other potential targets. Conduct regular visits to customers in the area to ensure service levels are appropriate. Eventually develop bagged cement customers Eventually develop sales team and customer service team. Prepare sales activity, financial and performance reports. Prepare annual budget for assigned area and ensure implementation of approved budget. Continually evaluate projected growth. Proactively identify and report on revenue streams and customer needs to maximize revenue for the organization and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Build and maintain ethical and strong relationships with key accounts. Fulfill customer needs and assist with problem solving as needed. Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, existing and emerging products, and technologies. Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives. Perform any other duties assigned. Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a related discipline; relevant professional certifications are a plus. Proven sales experience in construction, cement, CMU block or building materials, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as needed. A valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and reliable transportation. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of outside selling experience.
