Due to our success and increased business opportunities, we are looking for an IAS Consultant to provide technical and operational support within Integrated Absence Solutions Practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate group life and disability benefits experience; high level of professionalism, possess the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, the flexibility to easily adapt to changing priorities and desire to engage in new opportunities to learn.
Partner with clients to assess their absence management needs and recommend customized solutions.
Provide expert guidance on federal, state, and local leave regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave laws.
Act as a trusted advisor, delivering insights and strategies to help clients optimize their absence programs.
Lead the implementation of integrated absence management programs, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with client objectives.
Oversee the ongoing administration of absence programs, including leave tracking, compliance monitoring, and employee communications.
Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality program delivery.
Stay up to date on changes in absence-related regulations and proactively inform clients of potential impacts.
Ensure client programs meet all legal and compliance requirements.
Identify and mitigate risks related to absence program administration.
Analyze program performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present reports to clients, highlighting key metrics and actionable recommendations.
Address and resolve complex client issues related to absence management programs.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
Develop and share best practices for absence program design and management.
Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and enhance client satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Support client retention and satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and results.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of experience in absence management, benefits administration, or human resources consulting.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local leave regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA).
Ability to make appropriate plan design recommendations based on supporting data for life, STD, LTD and AD&D without oversight.
Able to make appropriate paid leave design recommendations (with oversight).
Able to present IAS Benchmarking Deliverable to all clients without oversight and provide support to more junior staff.
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with HRIS or absence management systems (e.g., Workday, ADP).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
