Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and blood sampling with precision and care. Collect and process specimens following established laboratory techniques. Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of all specimens collected. Provide exceptional patient service by explaining procedures and addressing any concerns. Monitor vital signs as needed during the collection process. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of mobile phlebotomy equipment and supplies. Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory procedures. Qualifications
Proven experience in phlebotomy, including blood sampling techniques. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and clinical laboratory experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Ability to demonstrate excellent patient service skills in a mobile setting. Experience with specimen collection/processing is highly desirable. Understanding of vital signs monitoring techniques. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care. Must possess a valid phlebotomy certification or equivalent training.
