As a Client Relationship Specialist, you will enhance the ConnectOne 'Client First' banking experience by acquiring, retaining, and developing banking relationships with both business and consumer clients while embodying our commitment to exceptional service. Embody the Bank's 'People First' philosophy by greeting clients personally, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring the branch aligns with ConnectOne Bank standards. Identify opportunities for relationship development through thoughtful cross-selling of the Bank's products and services. Assist clients in opening deposit accounts and educate them on available products and services. Ensure all banking activities comply with operational, security, and control procedures to safeguard customer assets. Address customer service inquiries by conducting thorough research and following up diligently until resolved. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall branch operations and performance. Manage service transactions, including check re-orders, account maintenance, and outbound client communications. Act as a primary backup to Branch Management for operational and service functions when needed. Support Teller functions as required, including processing banking transactions via phone or drive-up window. Participate actively in meeting branch sales goals. Maintain excellent service performance levels and integrate feedback from service evaluations. Engage in retail and community events to promote our brand in line with business objectives. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have: Strong needs-based sales skills. 1-3 years of relevant bank platform sales and teller experience. A solid understanding of federal banking compliance and requirements. A genuine interest and ability to put 'People First.' Proficiency in assessing customer needs and resolving their issues.
