Political Circulator - NY-17 (Westchester & Rockland Counties)
We are hiring
immediately
for Political Circulators to collect petition signatures from
registered Democratic voters
in
New York's 17th Congressional District (NY-17) , including
Westchester and Rockland Counties .
Circulators will engage voters in public locations, explain the purpose of the petition, and accurately collect signatures through hotspotting and personal networks.
This is an
entry-level position
and
no prior experience is required . Paid training is provided. Responsibilities Collect
valid petition signatures from registered Democratic voters in NY-17 Clearly and briefly explain the petition to the public Ensure all signatures are completed correctly and legibly Follow all campaign and legal guidelines Work in public areas such as sidewalks, community events, and designated locations Requirements Must be a registered Democrat in the State of New York to circulate Must be at least 18 years old Must be legally authorized to work Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods Willing and able to talk to strangers No prior political or canvassing experience required Schedule Flexible hours Daytime, evening, and weekend shifts available Compensation Paid weekly Work Environment Outdoor, public-facing role May involve varying weather conditions
