We are on a mission to lease 1,000+ doors within the next year, and we’re looking for a high-energy, results-driven Leasing Agent to help make it happen. This role sits within our rapidly growing property management division and plays a key part in driving occupancy across a diverse portfolio of properties throughout sunny San Diego. As a Leasing Agent, you’ll manage the full leasing cycle, build strong relationships with prospective tenants, and deliver an exceptional leasing experience from first contact to signed lease. Property Tours:
Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing available units and highlighting key amenities. Leasing Process:
Handle all aspects of the leasing process, including answering inquiries, processing applications, verifying tenant qualifications, and preparing lease agreements. Marketing:
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to attract new tenants, including online listings, social media, and promotional events. Documentation:
Ensure that all leasing documentation is accurate and complete, including lease agreements, applications, and move-in/move-out inspections. Market Research:
Stay informed about current market conditions, rental rates, and competitor properties to ensure competitive pricing and occupancy levels. Reporting:
Provide regular reports to management on occupancy rates, leasing activity, and market trends. Compliance:
Ensure all leasing activities comply with applicable housing laws, fair housing regulations, and company policies. Qualifications
Proven experience as a Leasing Agent (2 years required). Strong sales and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of real estate leasing laws and regulations. Proficient in property management software (e.g. AppFolio) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
