Position Details:
Position Type: Full Time Contract (1 year in duration, with opportunity to extend)
Job Location: Gonzales, LA
Schedule: Typical business hours with occasional overtime.

Compensation: $40.00/hr - $44.00/hr depending upon qualifications

Position Summary The Construction Field Superintendent is responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves managing construction crews, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities
Supervise on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Manage construction crews and coordinate subcontractors.
Monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
Resolve construction-related disputes and address customer concerns.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Maintain quality standards and ensure workmanship meets specifications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field. Previous experience in construction supervision or project management.
Strong knowledge of construction methods and techniques. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Understand safety aspects of managing work within a turnaround.
Understanding of Process Welding & QC.
Manage Critical Lifts & understand the documentation required for the SWP.
Serve as contractor single point of contact.
Manage Contractor Tool Box Meetings.
Approve Contractor Time Sheets.
Use & Understand P6 Schedule and use to manage priorities.
Read & understand P&ID.
Support Bid Document Preparation.
Assist in preparation & vetting of job packages.
Will need a Passport to travel to Canada (Corunna St. Claire Canada TAR location).
