Commercial Electricians
to support journeymen on large‑scale commercial projects throughout the Des Moines metro area. This role focuses exclusively on commercial electrical work, including running and bending conduit, pulling cable, installing fixtures, and supporting the build‑out of electrical systems in commercial facilities. Candidates should be eager to learn, committed to developing their skills, and willing to pursue formal electrical schooling with the goal of advancing in the trade. Responsibilities
Assist journeymen electricians with day‑to‑day tasks on commercial job sites Run and bend conduit, pull cables, and install boxes, fixtures, and commercial electrical components Use hand and power tools safely and correctly Retain and apply skills taught on the job and in the classroom Read and interpret tape measurements accurately Support installation, rough‑in, and finish work on commercial electrical systems Essential Skills
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division) Experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers Valid Driver’s License Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience on commercial electrical crews is a plus Experience with commercial rough‑in, finish work, or equipment installation is beneficial Ability to bend, twist, kneel, climb ladders, and work on feet for extended periods Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced commercial environment Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
