Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in UX design, interaction design, content design, or design systems. Demonstrated expertise in building or contributing to large-scale design systems (e.g., Material Design, Figma libraries, platform-level systems). Expertise in Native App design: Deep understanding of iOS (Human Interface Guidelines) and Android (Material Design) constraints, including navigation patterns and native OS functionality. Strong understanding of design tokens, including naming conventions, aliasing, and how they are consumed by engineering (CSS, XML, Swift UI). Strong proficiency with design tools (Figma, Sketch) and system documentation tools (Figma, Confluence). Experience working on consumer-facing products with large user bases. Ability to simplify complex interactions into intuitive, scalable patterns. Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills. Experience working with engineering teams to ensure system accuracy and adoption.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Motion Literacy: A foundational understanding of motion design principles (easing, timing, choreography) and how motion can be integrated into a design system to enhance usability. Technical Literacy: Familiarity with how tokens are consumed in code (CSS, XML, Swift UI) to better bridge the gap between design and development.
