Delaware North is looking for our next great team member to join our Sales team at Tenaya Lodge, in Fish Camp, California. This Sales Manager role will focus on the Corporate market segment and manage accounts to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. Responsible for soliciting new group sales accounts, entertaining, and maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals in rooms, food, beverage, and ancillary revenues. We are open to a remote candidate located within a short driving distance to Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, in the Central Valley or the Bay Area. This role will occasionally need to be on site, but will work primarily remotely. Nestled among the majestic pines, Tenaya at Yosemite offers a Sierra experience unlike any other. A beautiful destination throughout the year, Tenaya at Yosemite is the gateway to Yosemite National Park, offering three distinct guest experiences including the Tenaya Lodge, the Cottages, and Waybound Yosemite. Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $70,304 – $73,700 / year In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Build relationships with meeting planners, corporate contacts, and local businesses to meet department and property revenue goals. Secure catering event bookings by maintaining regular contact with clients and guests at the property. Prepare and execute catering contracts and ensure quality products and service are delivered. Produce budget proposals to meet sales department goals. Maintain positive client and guest relations and be their point of contact for event inquiries. More about you
High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the events and hospitality industry. Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to problem-solve and operate in a fast-paced environment. Available for business travel about 5 percent of the time, which may include evenings and weekends. Shift details
