Job Summary: As a pro-active Account Executive with Bosch Building Technologies, you will be responsible for achieving sales revenue goals, developing and maintaining valued customer relationships, expanding the company’s customer base, and developing professional selling skills. Your business development skills, technical market knowledge, and stakeholder communication will be critical to securing client engagements. Responsibilities
Own the creation of your annual sales plan and develop a strategic approach to increase sales across all company service offerings including integrated security, networking/data cabling, and/or commercial audio-visual. Pursue relationships with existing clients while generating new business to expand the customer base. Target and develop business with new clients to secure profitable relationships. Collaborate with Operations, IT, Engineering, and other departments to penetrate integrated security systems. Propose and present new solutions for security, integrated systems technologies, and infrastructure. Follow up on all sales leads, maintain CRM activities, opportunities, and forecasting. Monitor competitive landscape for changes in security technology and trends to ensure Bosch offerings are leading edge and provide value to clients. Required Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of industry experience. Continuing education valued – Technical, Associate’s, Bachelor’s degree, or security industry certifications. Extensive outside sales experience in a technical sales environment, ideally in integrated security, networking/data cabling, and/or commercial audiovisual industries. Experience selling complex integrated solutions (e.g., access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, structured cabling, corporate AV). Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling in related industries (IT, telecommunications, engineering, technology). Experience selling into sectors such as gaming, healthcare, industrial construction, government, education, defense, utilities. Knowledge of technologies: IP networks, low voltage electronics, power and communications, Windows workstations, Microsoft Office. Assets: Access control, CCTV (IP), intrusion systems, client-server security applications, MS SQL databases, server/storage infrastructure. Physical Demands
Ability to communicate in English (sight, hearing, speech, writing) to interact with colleagues and customers. Manual dexterity for occasional lifting of light objects and operating office equipment. Sitting, standing, walking in office environments and on construction sites. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and potential work at heights up to 6 feet. Working Conditions
Office environment with range of noise from low to moderate; sites may include general offices or new construction. On-site work with customers or contractors; driving to customer sites required. Limited overnight travel may be required. Additional Information
Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 base + Commission. Working Hours: Monday–Friday, with overtime and on-call as needed.
