High Salary: Competitive base salary up to $150,000, aligned with senior leadership responsibilities Strong Total Rewards: Comprehensive Healthcare, Dental, and Vision coverage, plus a 401(k) retirement plan Performance Bonus: 20% bonus opportunity tied to individual and company performance Leadership Impact: Own and shape the accounting and financial reporting function for a growing commercial real estate portfolio Career Growth: Join a rapidly expanding organization where your expertise directly influences strategy and scalability Culture & Leadership: Work within a collaborative, high-integrity culture supported by experienced, forward-thinking leadership Visibility & Influence: Partner closely with senior stakeholders and institutional counterparts, gaining exposure at the highest levels Key Responsibilities: Lead financial accounting and reporting for a diversified commercial real estate portfolio Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual property-level financial statements Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and controls Manage, mentor, and develop property accounting and financial reporting teams Serve as a key accounting contact for auditors, lenders, and joint venture partners Required Experience and Skills: 7+ years of commercial real estate property accounting experience 3+ years of people leadership or team management experience Proven experience preparing and reviewing commercial real estate financial statements Hands-on experience with real estate accounting systems (Yardi required; MRI preferred) Nice-to-Have Experience: Public accounting or CPA firm background Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and debt financing transactions Exposure to institutional or joint venture real estate structures Experience supporting accounting system integrations or automation initiatives Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA designation preferred but not required Other Requirements: Onsite presence at our Boston office, with flexibility after the first three months Strong client-facing skills for engagement with auditors, lenders, and joint venture partners Commitment to continuous improvement and team development
