Position Summary... What you'll do... Walmart Connect is the retail media startup within the world's largest retailer, Walmart, Inc. We're growing rapidly and need an Associate Partner Manager on our Emerging Sales team in Los Angeles, CA. About Emerging Sales: Our Associate Partner Manager on the Emerging Sales team helps clients—small and midsized businesses—grow through Walmart. You will consult with your clients as they plan, execute, and measure advertising campaigns that boost sales and new customer trial. You will learn to introduce business owners to our paid search and programmatic advertising solutions. You'll then utilize proprietary Walmart data to counsel these brands on the ideal products and tactics to accomplish their business objectives. This role offers ownership, coaching and mentorship, and an opportunity to build a career in the fastest growing segment of digital advertising, Retail Media, with the support and resources of the Fortune #1 company.
Responsibilities
Manage and own your own book of business
Complete an apprenticeship learning the marketplace competitive landscape, trends, and business models through deep partnership with senior Partner Managers, cross-functional teams, and industry experts
Learn to build relationships with clients and strategic partners
Learn best practices, processes, and forge through ambiguity to move the business forward
Report to a tenured digital advertising leader within the Emerging Sales organization
Collaborate with colleagues onsite in one of our Walmart Connect office locations
What you'll bring
Degree in Marketing, Advertising (Business Management) or Sales (Advertising Minor) preferred
Experience with Ad Sales Internship or Advertising Club on Campus
Passion for digital advertising, building fruitful partnerships, and becoming an expert in the wide world of Walmart Merchandising
Basic knowledge of the sales process/life cycle
