POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a self-driven and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our growing team. Responsibilities
Design and layout water-based fire protection systems using industry-standard software.
Perform hydraulic calculations and coordinate pipe sizing.
Review architectural and structural plans to ensure conflict-free installations.
Collaborate with project managers, field crews, and architects to solve site-specific challenges.
Prepare submittal packages for AHJ review and approval.
Communicate effectively with a diverse team in both English and Spanish.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in fire sprinkler layout/design.
Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Experience with Revit and AutoSprink is highly preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering is preferred.
Language: Must be fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
Preferred Qualifications
NICET Level I, II, or III certification in Water-Based Systems Layout.
Experience coordinating with BIM models.
