The salary range for this temp position is $38.50 - $45.00 per hour. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and San Francisco location.

SUMMARY The Associate Manager, Global Trade (Temp) will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing global import and export activities across all Kendo brands. This individual will strategically collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless trade facilitation through meticulous document creation, recordkeeping, and database management. They will champion data integrity, compliance, and the continuous improvement of global trade procedures and processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead comprehensive audits of import and export Customs declarations, documenting findings and proactively communicating insights. Identify trends, patterns, and areas for strategic improvement.
Proactively resolve complex Customs-related inquiries and issues from internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a deep understanding of trade regulations.
Take a leadership role in broker management, ensuring strict adherence to global trade program standard operating procedures and driving continuous improvement in performance.
Oversee and optimize the document creation process, from managing 3rd party vendors to ensuring the accurate and timely production of documents and identifying strategic opportunities to streamline throughput.
Provide expertise and guidance on SLIs for applicable export shipments, maintaining impeccable recordkeeping of required documents and information.
Champion global trade compliance as a core value throughout Kendo's operations, providing guidance and training as needed.
Strategically support the U.S. Drawback program, identifying and implementing opportunities to maximize duty recovery.
Maintain a proactive awareness of global trade news, updates, and regulatory changes, advising on potential impacts and strategic responses.
Initiate, lead, and implement significant operational process improvements within the global trade function.
Lead and collaborate on ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the Global Trade Senior Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
BA / BS degree or equivalent experience required.
2-5+ years experience in a progressively responsible role within Materials Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics, and/or Change management, with a strong emphasis on global trade is a plus but not required.
Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain operations (logistics, procurement, supply planning, distribution) is highly preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Advanced analytical skills - proven ability to identify and interpret anomalies and inconsistencies in large, complex datasets.
Extensive experience working with outsourced Customs brokers, logistics, and distribution providers at a management or supervisory level.
Superior organizational and time management skills; adept at managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Highly personable, adaptable, and flexible in navigating the demands and changes of a dynamic business environment.
Proven ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional supply chain teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environments, consistently delivering results.
