Overview
The Community and Advocacy Specialist supports grassroots advocacy, coalition work, program development, and resource efforts for PCA. They provide technical assistance, represent PCA externally, and advance initiatives for children and families through policy advocacy, organizing, and culturally responsive, community-centered practices across New Mexico. Responsibilities
Build partnerships and support programs; coordinate community strategies; and engage policymakers. Manage initiatives and track data. Contribute to grants and lead coalition work. Support events, trainings, and advocacy efforts to elevate community voices and advance PCA’s mission across New Mexico. Qualifications
Knowledge of legislative processes, policy advocacy, grassroots organizing, and coalition building. Skilled in facilitation, partnership development, data analysis, project management, and communication. Experienced working with diverse communities. Minimum four years’ related experience or equivalent degree; bilingual Spanish preferred, with strengths in culturally responsive engagement and collaborative program development. How to Apply
