The Happenings Event Manager (HEM) oversees the scheduling and operation of Happenings, Parties and other experiences around our Lady Ships and at the Beach Club. They will be responsible for running all Happenings rehearsals and ensuring overall artistic quality. We entrust our Happenings Event Managers to run a tight ship and maintain the quality of our Happenings and signature party experiences, which is key to the success of the overall entertainment program onboard our Lady Ships. This is a complex, multifaceted assignment where creativity, strong management skills and exquisite communication chops are the key to success. What You\'ll Be Up To
Responsible for complying with/performing Safety/Environmental/Emergency Response duties as assigned. Reads and acknowledges documents as assigned in VMS (Virgin Management System). Consistently maintain STCW and/or any other required certifications as described in the training matrix. Maintain the artistic integrity of each Happenings and/or Signature Party experience as originally set by the creative team. Call or execute cues for Happenings Events, parties and experiences around the ship, as needed. Partner with the onboard Entertainment Director to build Voyage scheduling grids, with an emphasis on maximizing Happenings programming opportunities and effective utilization of available talent, spaces, and technical resources. Manage and oversee all elements related to happenings, parties, and experiences. Maintain and update each Happening Protocol / SOP and applicable paperwork, in conjunction and partnership with the Manager, Entertainment Operations shoreside, the Traveling Install Direction Manager, and Happenings Captain Lead and oversee Cast rehearsals, technical rehearsals and put-ins as needed in conjunction with Happenings Captain Send regular reports to shipboard and shoreside teams. Work closely with onboard entertainment management on the cast and entertainment technical crew scheduling. What Matters to Us
