
Love Advertising is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our Digital Experience workstream. This role owns the execution, optimization, and ongoing improvement of email and marketing automation programs across enterprise ESPs, with a primary focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement. The Marketing Automation Specialist is comfortable making platform-level recommendations, translating strategy into scalable solutions, and guiding campaign and journey design based on best practices and technical feasibility.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, team-oriented problem solver who works well across departments, can confidently speak to platform capabilities, and is eager to learn, grow, and help shape the agency’s digital experience.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Execution Build, test, and deploy responsive email campaigns across ESPs, including:
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (SFMC) Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) HubSpot Mailchimp
Develop modular, scalable emails using HTML and CSS, adhering to best practices Implement dynamic and personalized content using platform languages such as AMPscript Ensure campaigns meet best practices for deliverability, accessibility, and responsiveness including ongoing monitoring Test and QA email rendering and functionality using Litmus and Email on Acid Track, analyze, and interpret key email performance metrics Clearly communicate email channel KPIs and performance insights to internal and external stakeholders Architect and develop assets across platform studios including Automation Studio, Web Studio and Email Studio Integrate data and platform services to support complex, scalable use cases Collaboration & Problem Solving Partner with strategy, creative, and account teams to operationalize and optimize campaign plans Understand challenges or underlying concerns, propose solutions, and recognize platform-level trade-offs Escalate risks or blockers when appropriate and support informed decision-making Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on experience working within enterprise ESPs, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio) Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification or similar Salesforce certification(s) Working knowledge of relational databases including SQL for use within platform Familiarity with data operations and ETL workflows Experience supporting email builds, audience segmentation, journey architecture, and campaign execution in response to ad-hoc requests Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced agency environment Nice to Have
Familiarity with MJML or other email development frameworks Light exposure to website CMS platforms such as WordPress Experience with GA4 or other digital analytics platforms Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power-BI Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Agency experience or experience supporting multiple brands or stakeholders We know great candidates don’t always check every box.
