Job Summary

is seeking a

Social Media Manager

who will own the strategy, content creation, execution, and analytics for all social media channels. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, strengthening pet-parent engagement, and supporting growth initiatives across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn. You’ll collaborate with marketing, creative, and product teams to highlight our mission: helping pet parents access top-quality veterinary care through reliable, compassionate wellness and insurance coverage.

Job Location:

Hybrid – New York, NY, with a minimum requirement of 2-3 days a week in the New York City office.

Main Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy designed to build a community of dedicated parents.

Identify platform-specific opportunities to grow reach, engagement, and conversions.

Maintain an evolving social media content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, partnerships, and product launches.

Produce high-quality content, including short-form videos, graphics, educational posts, and UGC highlights.

Write engaging captions that match brand voice and inspire pet-parent engagement.

Coordinate with designers, videographers, and influencers to bring creative ideas to life.

Collaborate with influencers, veterinarians, and brand partners to amplify reach.

Support paid social campaigns by supplying creative assets and coordinating messaging.

Assist with cross-channel marketing initiatives (email, blog, events, PR, etc).

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing or collaborating on social media for a consumer brand; pet, veterinary or insurance industry experience is a plus.

Demonstrated success growing social accounts and creating engaging short-form video content.

Strong copywriting skills with an understanding of tone, storytelling, and brand voice. You can adapt your voice to fit the brand

Proficiency with social management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms and ability to clearly communicate relevant data

Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut).

Preferred Qualifications

Passion for pets - you don\'t have to have one of your own, but you should really like them

Understanding of the human wellness and lifestyle space is a plus

An eye for trends beyond the pet, veterinary and insurance spaces, we are looking to engage beyond our obvious scope
