Salary range : $33.65/hr. to $34.62/hr.

This position is pending contract award.

Summary Reporting to the Training Development Site Lead, the Instructional Systems Designer shall provide instructional design and development support in accordance with client-specific requirements and standard operating procedures.

All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Metris Global is recognized. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

Leverage instructional system design principles to prepare curricula/design documents in accordance with Metris guidance and as specified in project documents (SOPs, benchmarks, standards and other requirements).

Prepare storyboards and/or outlines for content development in accordance with industry standards SOPs and other requirements as defined by the project requirements.

Select and create appropriate delivery methods and media to support development of human performance and testing of competencies.

Prepare and structure tests and practical application exercises so these are reliable indicators that a learner has learned to perform the tasks identified in the objectives.

Perform formative and summative evaluations, including pilot studies as needed.

Revise versions in accordance with feedback from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) reviews and data obtained in pilot testing.

Develop reports on pilot studies useful in finalizing the training products.

Ensure work and processes conform to Metris standards, and other requirements stipulated in task orders.

Members shall demonstrate effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork with all co-workers and team members.

Job Requirements

Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks.

Oversee the successful completion of ISD projects and curriculum development in accordance with Metris guidance.

ISD professionals shall work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Must possess either a Master\'s degree in Instructional Systems, Instructional Systems Technology, Instructional & Performance Technology, or Education (with a concentration in Educational Technology) or demonstrated past expertise to show mastery level of ISD principles.

Three years’ documented demonstrated past experience in a related field may be substituted for the educational requirement.

Must possess a minimum of two years’ experience using the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) process in the development of courses and training interventions.

Must be proficient in using the following software applications: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suites, and computer graphics programs.

Requires compliance with and signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

Successful vetting (possibly SSBI background investigation).

Must submit personal resume information.

CPR/First Aid

Measurement of Performance

Completed and delivered tasks and work products will be, with the exception of government-caused delay or force majeure, in conformance with project requirements, timely, complete, and documentation shall, upon final acceptance, be free from technical or typographical errors 95% of the time.

Products are also evaluated for their instructional and task effectiveness, as well as relevant focus. It is expected that products meet the desired instructional and task objectives and adhere to the desired focus/mission.
