Collegedale Academy (CA) is a thriving Seventh-day Adventist K-12 school located in Collegedale, TN. Serving approximately 900 students, CA’s location on the campus of Southern Adventist University provides an environment that supports strong academic achievement. More importantly, however, the spiritual opportunities throughout our school/church community are invaluable.
CA is seeking a dynamic, spiritually grounded, full-time NAD-certified Seventh-day Adventist educator to serve as a middle school physical education teacher and athletic director for grades 5–8. Responsibilities include teaching physical education classes, leading the middle school athletic program, and fulfilling other duties as assigned by administration.
The ideal candidate is passionate about youth ministry and views athletics as an opportunity to cultivate Christlike character, teamwork, and leadership in students. This educator will partner with school leadership to create learning experiences that promote critical thinking, spiritual growth, and personal reflection within a Christ-centered environment.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a collaborative spirit, a growth mindset, and a commitment to holistic Adventist education. A minimum of three years of successful teaching experience is preferred.

Collegedale Academy provides learning opportunities for students age 3 - grade 12 through a blend of spiritual and academic growth activities and classes along with a variety of learning experiences including classroom worship, mission trips, community service projects, fine arts, athletic activities, and dual enrollment classes. CA’s pursuit of academic rigor includes fair and robust academic standards integrated with relevant technology—all while giving the opportunity to bond both spiritually and personally.
