Overview

Developmental Services Center (DSC) provides comprehensive services across the lifespan—from birth through adulthood—including family development, case management, employment, residential, respite, and community day services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Champaign and Ford Counties. Responsibilities
Assess individual needs and provide ongoing, personal support and guidance with all areas of daily living. This includes developing, implementing, and modifying Individual Support Plans (ISPs), scheduling, transporting and participating in medical, dental, psychiatric and diagnostic appointments, and providing financial oversight and monitoring as Representative Payee.
Requirements
Knowledge, understanding and the ability to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Polished interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to undertake responsibility, take initiative and structure and arrange own schedule within assigned work hours. Available to work a variety of hours, including participation in the agency on call emergency response pager system.
Successful completion of agency training within 90 days of hire.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation with adequate insurance to cover transportation of individuals.

40 hours a week
