Your Responsibilities

Due to our success and increased business opportunities, we are looking for a Lead Proposal Writer who is familiar with constructing answers, creating and editing large documents, and presentation decks. The role requires familiarity with project management, marketing and writing for corporate audiences. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, and a desire to engage in new opportunities to learn. Responsibilities

Responsible for the creation and editing of proposals, sales decks (PowerPoint) and final presentations. Initiate the writing and coordinate activities associated with the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to ensure the highest quality of service and consistency with branding guidelines. Create responses using a library of up-to-date information and resources for RFP work, including answer creation and research. Participate in activities involved in resolving issues associated with the RFP process, ensuring follow-through to resolution. Partner with producers and management to develop and maintain an understanding of services and capabilities. Coordinate projects with support from additional resources and with strict adherence to detailed customer specifications. Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in writing, journalism, marketing, advertising, or a related field is required. Minimum of five years’ experience in proposal preparation and project management. Strong understanding of health and welfare benefits is preferred. Proven proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading. Advanced technical skills in the use of Microsoft Office suite. Proven understanding of Requests for Proposals and how to create a sophisticated and detailed response. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to internal and external customers. Creative, detail-oriented, well organized with the ability to learn, follow instructions, and manage projects; prioritize and self-manage daily workload. Legal right to work in the United States.
