RBA Builders is looking for a motivated entry level Junior Estimator to join our Preconstruction team. This is a great opportunity for someone just starting their construction career who wants to learn how projects are priced, planned, and built. This role is ideal for a hardworking, detail-oriented person who enjoys problem solving, working with numbers, and learning how commercial buildings come together. Responsibilities

Assist with quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications Support senior estimators in assembling bid proposals and pricing packages Help solicit, organize, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes Maintain estimating spreadsheets and documentation for bid accuracy Participate in bid reviews and internal preconstruction meetings Learn company estimating standards, workflows, and tools Communicate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors as needed Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Organized, dependable, and detail focused Comfortable working with numbers and basic math Positive attitude and ability to take coaching Education

High school graduate Construction related classes, trade school, or drafting courses are a plus, but not required Experience

Any construction exposure, summer work, or hands on experience is helpful Skills

Basic computer skills (Excel, email, file organization) Ability to read drawings or learn quickly with training Good communication and follow through Strong attention to detail Certifications

OSHA 10 or willingness to obtain is a plus Preferred Qualifications

Interest in construction management or building trades Experience working summer jobs in construction or similar environments Desire to grow into a long-term estimating or project management career Working Conditions

Full time office-based position Occasional jobsite visits for learning and exposure Mentorship and hands on training provided Benefits
