
Representative II, Customer Service Medical Documentation Specialist

Monday - Friday 8:30am ET - 5:00pm ET
Overview The Core Medical Documentation Representative role is centered around making sure all required medical documentation is complete and accurate so patient orders can move forward without delay. This includes contacting doctors’ offices, following up consistently, and ensuring we’ve obtained everything needed from insurance providers so equipment can be shipped and delivered on time.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.
Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives
Demonstrates ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers.
Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.
Physician interactions (verbal calls, clinical prescribing questions, diagnosis validation, outbound fax resolution, etc)
Reviews and executes according to departmental SOPs for medical documentation
High attention to detail
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
Achieve productivity measures and maintain standardized quality metrics
Identify, support and demonstrate the Company's culture and values to ensure quality service to both internal and external customers
Qualifications
HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
Basic math skills preferred
Medical and Healthcare experience preferred
Call Center Experience preferred

Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution
Refers to policies and past practices for guidance
Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments
Consults with supervisor or senior peers on complex and unusual problems
Anticipated hourly range:
$15.75 per hour – $18.50 per hour
