Overview
SRNL’s Global Security Directorate (GSD) is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the Portfolio Manager supporting NNSA’s Office of Material Management and Minimization (M3 aka NA-23). SRNL delivers integral support to the M3 mission by leading key programs related to HEU (high enriched uranium) and plutonium minimization. SRNL, through research, innovation, and technology deployment, supports M3 initiatives in research reactor conversion, fissile material removal, and fissile material disposition designed to minimize the need for, the presence of, and the production of weapons-usable nuclear material around the world. Given SRNL’s extensive support for the M3 mission, this is an exciting opportunity and challenge to lead the growth and execution of a portfolio comprised of highly technical engineering and science projects supporting the U.S. Government’s advanced capabilities in international nuclear nonproliferation. The position reports to the Director, Portfolio Development Office, who is responsible for managing SRNL’s overall NA-20 DNN program. Responsibilities
