Temp Part-Time Event Manager
to support its growing portfolio of large-scale and smaller-format events. This is a great opportunity for an experienced events professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and vendors in a fast-paced environment. Start:
Ideally, Monday, February 10th through June 18th Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 9:00am–5:00pm (some quieter weeks may be reduced to 9:00am–3:00pm) Rate:
$40–$42/hour DOE Location:
Onsite, Midtown Manhattan Responsibilities include: Supporting planning and execution for large-scale B2B events and leading smaller-scale events Managing third-party vendors (venues, AV, signage, stand contractors, etc.) and ensuring timelines, quality standards, and deliverables are met Overseeing event budgets, including forecasting, pre- and post-event updates, and invoice reconciliation Partnering closely with the sponsorship team to manage sponsorship deliverables, branding opportunities, and meeting spaces Providing regular status updates to leadership on event progress Leading staff and vendors on-site during event days Ideal background: Prior experience managing or supporting B2B events Strong project management, vendor management, and budgeting skills Highly organized with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
