Licensed Interior Designer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Albuquerque, NM, for a Licensed Interior Designer. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing creative and functional interior spaces, preparing construction drawings, collaborating with architects, and ensuring that designs meet client requirements. The role involves space planning, selecting and specifying furnishings, finishes, and equipment (FF&E), and collaborating closely with internal and external teams to meet project goals. Qualifications Experience in Space Planning, Interior Design, and Furnishings, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) selection and specification Proficiency in Architecture and construction knowledge, particularly in creating and reviewing Construction Drawings Strong design and analytical skills with attention to detail and creativity Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with multi-disciplinary teams and clients Professional licensure as an Interior Designer is required Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) is highly desirable Experience in designing for diverse industries such as Education, Government, Healthcare, Hospitality, or Commercial projects is a plus This is a salaried position that includes H+Mdg’s generous benefit package.
