Sr. Marketing Manager: This strategic and detail-oriented Senior Marketing Manager supports and strengthens the firm’s corporate brand, asset-level marketing initiatives, events, internal communications, and investor-facing messaging. This role will serve as a key partner to the Director of Marketing & Communications, helping to shape marketing strategy while managing the day-to-day execution of cross-functional initiatives across the organization.
This role requires someone who is proactive, organized, collaborative, and brings experience working across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. This individual will work closely with asset-level partners, Investor Relations, Development, HR, and external vendors. Familiarity with real estate development, commercial investments, asset marketing, or institutional capital programs is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities Support the development and execution of marketing strategies that strengthen brand awareness and market positioning. Coordinate asset-level marketing planning with development teams, external partners, and leasing brokers. Maintain brand standards, messaging consistency, and alignment across corporate, asset-level, and investor communications.
Events & Sponsorships Lead planning and coordination for corporate events, investor engagements, sponsorship activations, and asset-level milestone events. Partner with event production vendors as needed to ensure high-quality execution. Manage run-of-show materials, event collateral, signage, and post-event follow-up processes.
Internal Communications & Engagement Support the development of internal newsletters, intranet content, employee engagement initiatives, and communications frameworks. Work closely with HR on company-wide culture and engagement efforts. Train employees and partners on brand guidelines, templates, and messaging to promote organization-wide alignment and high-quality execution.
Social Media & Email Marketing Collaborate with digital partners to support social content development, advertising and analytics tracking. Ensure social and email content aligns with fund messaging, investment priorities, and broader brand narrative. Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for digital agencies, design, production, and communications partners. Track timelines, assign tasks, and manage workflow across multiple concurrent projects.
Other Duties and Responsibilities Strict adherence to the terms and provisions as detailed in National’s Employee Handbook. Complete compliance with National’s Regulatory Compliance Manual, Code of Ethics and underlying compliance policies and procedures. Must demonstrate commitment to National’s pragmatic stewardship approach in daily business activities, including meeting our overarching fiduciary responsibilities and whenever feasible, incorporating energy and resource conservation practices to produce more profitable results for our clients. Organize, attend and actively contribute to internal Staff meetings. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications 5–7 years of marketing experience, preferably in commercial real estate, development, investment management, architecture/design, or related industry. Demonstrated experience managing multi-stakeholder projects from concept to execution. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners. Proactive, solutions-oriented, detail-focused approach. Comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Required to demonstrate intermediate application of Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and Adobe. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot/Account Engagement, or similar systems is a plus. Experience working with creative vendors, agencies, photographers, and video teams a plus. Must be resourceful and flexible, and have an aptitude for learning new marketing techniques and technologies. Ability to periodically travel overnight travel on an as needed project-specific basis to attend meetings and special events.
This job primarily operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. It is a sedentary role in a professional environment; however, incumbent is required to regularly walk, sit, talk and/or hear, reach with hands and arms.
