What You’ll Do The Ads Marketing Strategist position is an opportunity to join a high-growth start-up as an emerging creative and business-savvy marketing professional who is eager to build skills and help define the future of the Creator economy at one of its leading companies. In this role, you will support a growing Marketing team within Spotter Ads in the ideation, development, and execution of strategic partnerships between Creators and brands in the form of custom creative partnerships and best-in-class media solutions.
Responsibilities
Working in collaboration with the wider Ads Marketing team, assisting in the development strategic recommendations in response to client requests (RFPs, etc) that bring together a full-suite of advertising solutions within insight-driven proposals for brands and agencies
Supporting a team in the creation of Creator-first advertising opportunities anchored in upcoming content and series that demonstrate Creator’s value and impact for brands
Partnering with Ads Research team to develop data-driven Creator recommendations that position key Creators as relevant and impactful partners for advertising campaigns
Assisting in the collaboration with internal sales, planning, and operations teams to create and position new ad products and opportunities for key categories and brands to drive revenue
Lead and facilitate the population and maintenance of a central repository for Ads Marketing materials, including past client presentations, case studies and performance reports, and upcoming Creator opportunities
Contribute to all Spotter Ads Trade Marketing initiatives, including sponsored and ownable events, social promotion, thought leadership and more
Who You Are Education & Experience/Certifications:
2-3+ years of experience in ad sales/integrated marketing at advertising agencies, media companies, or sales organizations OR partnerships at Creator or entertainment-focused firms
College degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred
Desired Skills And Competencies
Strong storytelling and communication/presentation skills (written, verbal and visual) with ability to transform creative ideas, Creator content, and marketplace positioning into compelling materials and collateral to be utilized by sales team
Interest in and knowledge of Creators, as well as emerging technology and platforms, with a passion to continue learning about this dynamic category and what’s next across the Creator economy, premium video ecosystems, pop culture, and adtech
Experience crafting content and campaign strategies across platforms (with focus on YouTube) and content types, including branded content, Creator-led partnerships, and ongoing series
Proven ability to multitask and oversee multiple projects and priorities independently, all guided by a detail-oriented and organized mindset
Understanding of wider media ecosystem
Creative problem solver and entrepreneurial spirit committed to helping fuel Spotter’s growth with a can-do approach and willingness to roll up their sleeves
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides
Ability to learn new proprietary software and processes quickly and proficiently

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $80K-$90K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter’s total compensation package for employees.
