The Private Events Account Manager is responsible for building and managing Harbor Breeze’s Private Events division as an entrepreneurial revenue center. This role combines business development, sales leadership, client relationship management, and event coordination to create unforgettable nautical experiences for corporate events, celebrations, and special occasions. The Account Manager will drive revenue growth through aggressive prospecting, consultative selling, and exceptional client service while directly impacting the company’s bottom line. Salary: $70,304 Per Year What You’ll Do

Business Development & Prospecting: Own lead generation through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and relationship building with corporate event planners, associations, non-profits, and event professionals across LA/Orange County. Sales & Revenue Generation: Transform prospects into clients through consultative selling, present customized event packages, negotiate pricing and terms, and close deals that meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, understanding their needs and positioning Harbor Breeze as the premier choice for nautical events and experiences. Event Coordination: Partner with clients from concept through execution, managing event details including menus, setup, entertainment, theme coordination, and special requests to ensure flawless delivery. Upselling & Revenue Optimization: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to maximize revenue per booking through premium bars, entertainment packages, catering upgrades, photo services, and specialty cruise offerings. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with operations, catering, crew, and marketing teams to ensure seamless event execution and develop targeted campaigns for prospect lists. Pipeline & Performance Management: Maintain meticulous records in CRM (HubSpot), analyze sales metrics and pipeline health, and report on performance with clarity and strategic insight. Client Experience Excellence: Be present during events to ensure client satisfaction, address any concerns, and create raving fans who refer Harbor Breeze to their networks. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices to continuously refine sales approach and identify new opportunities. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management to support overall company operations and private events division growth. Qualifications

3 years of outside sales experience (B2B preferred), preferably in hospitality, events, tourism, or similar industries. Proven ability to generate new business through prospecting and relationship building. Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals. Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills with ability to engage diverse audiences. HubSpot proficiency and demonstrated comfort with sales technology, CRM systems, and AI tools. Entrepreneurial mindset with strong sense of ownership, accountability, and strategic thinking. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple prospects and events simultaneously. Relationship-driven approach with genuine interest in understanding client needs and building long-term partnerships. Enthusiasm for Harbor Breeze’s mission of creating memorable nautical experiences and commitment to environmental conservation. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as events require. Event planning or coordination experience (preferred).
