Our client a well known Financial Services Firm is seeking a Global Markets Pre-Trade IT - Business Analyst in their New York, New York Location!
Roles and responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for IT integration. Analyze and interpret complex data flows from multiple structured and unstructured sources, improving data quality and consistency across teams. Utilize business analytics tools to provide actionable insights that support informed decision-making and strategic planning. Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that address persistent reporting requests for management and support partners. Support the integration of internal tools into the Credit Markets ecosystem for effective deal checklist automation and data reconciliation. Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in the context of Global Securities Financing and Equities. Develop and maintain detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide development teams. Facilitate communication between business units, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on project goals and deliverables. Participate in the testing and validation of new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business requirements. Provide ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries and assisting with training as needed. Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. 5 to 9 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Credit Markets or financial services domain. Strong understanding of fixed income products and credit market operations. Effective communication skills with an ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders. Experience with automating workflows and integrating business intelligence tools. Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools. Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices. Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
