Manager, Digital Strategy and Monetization
– Remote The Rundown: Playfly Sports Properties (PSP) is aiming to reach a $30 million increase in annual digital revenue over the next five years. We are seeking a high-performing Digital Strategy and Monetization Specialist to be a catalyst for this growth. You will serve as a strategic partner to multiple property sales teams, providing expert support and innovative frameworks to generate digital revenue growth. Your focus will be on driving new sponsorship and advertising revenue by unlocking the full potential of social media, web, mobile apps, lead generation, and email marketing ecosystems.
What You’ll Accomplish
Drive incremental revenue growth across assigned university sports properties by accelerating sponsorship and advertising sales across social media, web, mobile, and email platforms through creative pitch ideation, product demos, and continuous sales team training
Maintain a high-touch rhythm with the sales force through a strategic mix of virtual video collaboration and targeted in-person strategy sessions
Join the PSP sales team on client calls to provide expertise, address inquiries, and help drive revenue growth for the company
Manage a comprehensive digital inventory of all local properties while distilling complex post-campaign metrics into actionable "best practice" insights and cross-property success stories
Function as the primary liaison to university athletic digital teams—partnering with social media managers, content creators, website managers, as well as marketing communication strategists to align goals
Collaborate directly with university partners and local sales teams to architect and launch first-to-market digital and social media sponsorship opportunities
Understand and monitor the end-to-end digital activation process, guiding the sales team through every stage of the campaign lifecycle from pitch to execution
Tackle additional job-related projects and duties as the digital landscape and business needs evolve
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media, or related field
5+ years of professional experience in a digital media or marketing role
Outstanding partnership and relationship building skills
Understanding of digital audience metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, social media measurement tools, etc.)
Excellent communication skills and ability to provide instruction and guidance to individuals who may not have a strong digital acumen
Strong knowledge of social platforms (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
Orientation toward providing excellent client service and following through on requests
Must be meticulous and can manage multiple projects
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Travel, Lifting, Physical Requirements
Travel required for the position, approximately one trip every 1-2 months.
