
Overview
The Graphic Designer II is a mid-level design role responsible for leading the execution of marketing creative across Stone Martin Builders’ communities in Alabama and Georgia. This role builds on foundational design skills to include greater ownership of campaigns, stronger creative judgment, and deeper partnership with the Sales and Marketing teams. The Graphic Designer II translates marketing strategy into polished, on-brand visual assets across digital and print channels, while helping elevate brand consistency, creative quality, and design processes. This role is expected to work more independently, manage projects end-to-end, and contribute ideas that strengthen the overall brand experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
Design and lead the execution of marketing materials including signage, logos, brochures, flyers, presentations, and digital assets that highlight Stone Martin Builders’ communities, homes, and value propositions.
Own the creative development of campaign assets from concept through final delivery, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with campaign goals.
Create visually compelling presentations that support sales meetings, internal reviews, and external partner communications.
Design digital assets for online marketing campaigns, including social media graphics, email marketing assets, website visuals, and paid media placements.
Translate a single campaign concept across multiple formats and channels while maintaining visual cohesion and clarity.
Ensure creative supports both brand storytelling and conversion-focused objectives.
Apply and uphold Stone Martin Builders’ brand standards across all materials and markets.
Support the evolution and maintenance of visual branding guidelines, templates, and reusable assets.
Identify opportunities to improve brand consistency, visual systems, and creative efficiency.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs.
Collaborate closely with the Marketing team, Sales team, real estate agents, and external partners to align creative execution with project objectives.
Provide guidance or feedback to junior designers or coordinators as needed to support team success.
Maintain organized file systems, asset libraries, and documentation that support efficient collaboration across teams.
Ensure design files are production-ready and properly packaged for internal use or vendor handoff.
Support improvements to design workflows, templates, and internal processes.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field
5–7 years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio (real estate or homebuilding experience preferred)
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and production standards
Proven ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to explain design decisions clearly
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Outlook
Photography and videography experience, including capturing and editing content for campaigns and social media, is a plus but not required.
