Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Fort Wayne, IN, for a Banquet Event Manager. The primary responsibilities include planning, organizing, and overseeing event operations at Parkview Field to deliver exceptional client and guest experiences. The Banquet Event Manager will coordinate with event clients, manage event timelines and budgets, oversee setup and breakdown processes, and ensure all catering and service standards are upheld. Additionally, the role involves staff supervision, addressing client needs during events, and ensuring smooth event execution while maintaining high-quality customer service. Qualifications
Event planning and management experience, with proficiency in creating detailed timelines, coordinating logistics, and adhering to budgets Leadership, team management, and staff coordination expertise, including strong communication and interpersonal skills Customer service and problem-solving abilities to provide outstanding client experiences Knowledge of catering standards and operational best practices for food and beverage services Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field preferred Experience in the hospitality industry or event venue management is a plus
