Tempus' proprietary platform connects an entire ecosystem of real-world evidence to deliver real-time, actionable insights to physicians, providing critical information about the right treatments for the right patients, at the right time.**Responsibilities:**Drive sales force effectiveness across the oncology and neuropsychiatry clinician-facing sales teams, through activities including:Sales team designSales headcount planningTerritory designSales enablement tool development (e.g., dashboards, reports)Salesforce.com structure and data governanceCustomer segmentation and targetingSales activity insightsProduct launch strategy and trackingOversee development of accurate, fair, motivating, and strategically aligned incentives, through activities including:Compensation plan designQuota settingPayout calculationsPresident’s Club designSeek ways to automate processes to ensure timely and actionable insights are provided to the sales teamCollaborate with teams across the organization, including sales, marketing, finance, legal, and HR to co-develop and operationalize recommendationsLead, coach, and mentor members of the Sales Planning and Incentive Compensation teams
**Qualifications:**Bachelor’s degree; degree in business, economics, or a quantitative field are a plus5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales strategy, commercial operations, incentive compensation, or a related role, preferably within life sciencesStrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insightsAbility to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issuesSalesforce.com experience and knowledge of best practicesCommercial experience in oncology, with clinician-facing products, and/or within a life sciences organizationExperience in large-scale life sciences data analysisExperience with life sciences sales, marketing, and medical claims data sets (Definitive, IMS, Symphony, etc.)CHI: $100,000-$150,000The expected salary range above is applicable if the role is performed from Illinois and may vary for other locations (California, Colorado, New York). Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
