Community Development Ambassador Greene or Macoupin County Location: Remote position with considerable travel within assigned territory Department: Community Development Reports to: Community Development Ambassador Lead, Community Development Manager Company Overview: Conxxus is a leading fiber-to-the-home brand dedicated to providing high-speed internet services to rural communities in Illinois. We seek a skilled and dynamic Brand Ambassador to join our team. As a member of the Community Development team, you be a representative and face of Conxxus in the communities we serve, you will share responsibility for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, promoting our brand, and ensuring positive public perception. We are looking for a passionate, personable and professional individual who is capable of public speaking and has networking experience. Key Responsibilities

Build brand awareness in areas built or soon-to-be-built with Conxxus fiber internet Support relationship building by attending local events, organizational meetings, sporting functions, festivals, etc. Assist in integration into key chambers of commerce to ensure Conxxus is part of the community alongside Community Development Coordinator Support local sales teams by generating customer leads (residential, MDU, and business) Assisting with and attending Conxxus community-based events – ground breakings and sign-up events coordinated by the Community Development Coordinator. Develop and leverage existing referral programs to generate organic growth Researching territories and attending multiple events a week including evenings and some weekends as needed. Ambassador must wear Conxxus branded gear approved by HR, must be well groomed and adhere to department dress code policies, well-spoken, polished and professional. Ambassador will report to the Community Ambassador Program Lead and Manager and will work with other Community Development team members on items needed to support the territory events and sales. Holding regular Sign-Up Opportunities within targeted markets Qualifications

Associates degree preferred but may accept relevant experience Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written Aptitude for negotiation, persuasion and business acumen Highly motivated, determined, and target driven Expert in time management and personal organization Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning skills to a variety of situations Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with other personnel to meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to work within critical deadlines. Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules. Ability to provide excellent customer service.
