
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Instructor to lead training, quality improvement, and performance accountability initiatives for our Residential New Construction HVAC operations. This role focuses on improving the quality, efficiency, and consistency of HVAC production labor through hands-on training, collaboration with operations leadership, and technical support for field personnel. Responsibilities
Brainstorm, develop, and implement training practices to improve the quality, efficiency, and delivery of HVAC production labor
Collaborate with the Operations Manager to train HVAC superintendents, technicians, trainees, and subcontractors
Create and implement quality control and accountability protocols for HVAC production labor and warranty technician performance
Assist HVAC warranty service technicians with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and problem-solving in the field
Promote best practices, safety standards, and consistency across all HVAC installations
Support continuous improvement initiatives across residential new construction projects
Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 6+ Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Residential HVAC New Construction
Proven ability to train, mentor, and lead HVAC professionals at various skill levels
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Valid Driver’s License
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures
Manual dexterity required to operate hand and power tools
Visual and auditory ability sufficient to perform troubleshooting, inspections, and training demonstrations safely
