Grain Processing Corporation (GPC), a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE family of companies, has a great new opportunity to join their customer service team as a Sales Administrator at their Muscatine, Iowa location. As a leading producer of pure alcohol, maltodextrins, starches, and co-products, this dynamic role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service by managing and processing customer orders with precision and efficiency, while also supporting the Sales Administration team by ensuring seamless operations and fostering productive relationships across various departments. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain a strong customer service orientation in a professional business environment Receive, process, and input customer orders with attention to detail and accuracy Oversee the operations of external warehouses and terminals, ensuring logistical efficiency Review, organize, and archive all pricing records to support transparency and consistency Build and nurture long-lasting customer relationships, enhancing satisfaction and driving loyalty Proactively identify customer needs, offering tailored recommendations to meet their expectations Escalate complex issues promptly to ensure swift and effective resolutions Exhibit professional phone etiquette and communication skills in all interactions Represent the company positively and uphold its reputation in every professional engagement Collaborate as a liaison between customers, sales teams, supply chain, and manufacturing units, ensuring alignment and smooth communication Apply advanced knowledge of customer service standard operating procedures (SOP) to maintain high standards and continuous improvement Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools effectively to track activities, manage service requests, and identify opportunities for process enhancement Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in business administration or other related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience 3-5 years of experience in a professional environment, demonstrating self-direction and strong attention to detail Experience in a customer-focused role is required Efficient in using company systems and Microsoft Office programs OTHER Little to no travel is expected.
