We are currently working with a well-established electrical contractor in the Houston market seeking a Senior Electrical Superintendent to lead large-scale commercial and industrial projects. This role is responsible for full field execution, crew leadership, and coordination with project management to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities
Oversee all on-site electrical construction activities from mobilization through closeout
Lead, schedule, and manage superintendents, foremen, and field crews
Coordinate daily work plans with Project Managers, General Contractors, and trade partners
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, quality control measures, and project specifications
Review drawings, layouts, and schedules to proactively identify conflicts and solutions
Manage manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance
Drive schedule adherence and productivity across multiple work fronts
Participate in weekly progress meetings and provide accurate field updates
Support commissioning, inspections, and final turnover
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in electrical construction, with senior-level field leadership experience
Strong background in large commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, or mission-critical projects
Proven ability to manage large crews and complex project schedules
Deep understanding of electrical systems, sequencing, and field coordination
Excellent communication and leadership skills
OSHA certification preferred
Willingness to travel within the Houston area as required
