JR101288**WHAT YOU’LL DO**The Vice President of Sales is responsible for driving bookings at Dreamscape's new Rio Las Vegas Hotel & Casino to achieve maximum occupancy. This role collaborates closely with the Hotel Operations, Casino Marketing, and Food & Beverage leaders to ensure satisfaction for both new and returning guests**ROLE EXPECTATIONS**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:* Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives.* Drive the revenue of the hotel through negotiated contracts with vendors and customers.* Leads best in class team of catering and even planning professionals, delivering exceptional meeting planner and attendee experiences* Analyze inventory levels, forecast staffing needs and align room promotions with events occurring in the convention space.* Set monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals to grow market share.* Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction.* Collaborate with Finance and operational leaders to develop service and pricing strategies that align with market conditions, competitive analysis, and customer demand.* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average daily rate (ADR), revenue per available room (RevPAR), occupancy rates, and market share to identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations to optimize revenue.* Provide Team Member growth opportunities and foster a high-performance culture within team.* Perform other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES*** Hotel Sales Team* Event Planning Team**REQUIREMENTS*** Minimum ten (10) years of experience in sales and/or hotel operations.* Minimum three (3) years of progressive leadership experience.* Strong organizational skills, solution-driven, and analytical thinker.* Excellent written and oral communication skills.* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.* Strong computer proficiency; ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and applicable operational software.* At least 21 years of age**PREFERRED*** Bachelor’s degree hospitality management.* Proficient in using Workday, Opera, and other similar software.* Five (5) years experience of leading large teams.* Experience working in a similar resort setting.**CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS*** Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations*Rio Las Vegas is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
