Job Description:
Auris Health, a member of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies is currently hiring a Supervisor, Manufacturing Product and Packaging Operations, to join its dynamic Ottava production team.
Overview The Manufacturing Product and Packaging Operations supervisor will support the execution of strategic initiatives for the Ottava production team. This role will focus on hiring, training and mentoring team members. In addition, this candidate will analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks through Lean and Six Sigma, and implement process improvements. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a passion for operational excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Drive and responsible for daily production build plan
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production bottleneck
Supervise a team of technicians, hire and train new team members and mentors existing ones
Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
Document and share best practices across teams to foster innovation and operational excellence.
Track performance metrics and report progress to leadership.
Qualifications Education
A minimum of Associate’s degree and/or equivalent University degree is required
Required
A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional work experience
Supervisory experience in medical devices
Experience in Lean and Six Sigma and other continuous improvement processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams.
Strong personnel management skills
Preferred
Experience in capital equipment in medical device manufacturing
Familiarity with medical device labeling and packaging.
Other
May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other sites and locations
