The Enterprise Storage group builds, launches, and manages the lifecycle of NetApp products which drives the world’s most demanding IT environments in the datacenter and in the cloud. In this role, as a product TME (Technical Marketing Engineer) you will collaborate with field technical teams, product management, engineering, product marketing, and other essential partners. Your primary focus will be on delivering product collateral, testing and documenting solutions with NetApp technologies and key ecosystem partners, conducting field training/enablement sessions and guiding implementation of NetApp solutions in customer environments. The successful candidate will have a passion for building, testing and documenting innovative IT solutions to drive successful outcomes for customers. A strong technical background in enterprise IT combined with the ability to explain and present technical content to sales teams and customers is essential. To succeed in this role, you must be a self-starter and self-learner, possess strong problem‑solving skills, and embrace challenges. Job Responsibilities

Development of whitepapers, blogs, video, technical training decks and topic‑based presentations to support core NetApp products and integrations with 3rd party solutions. Conducting periodic sales/partner training/workshops and information delivery sessions. Deploying, configuring and testing lab environments with end‑to‑end solutions including NetApp products and 3rd party technologies such as databases, filesystems and data protection solutions. Supporting product launch activities and assisting with trade shows, conferences, and technical sales or channel partner training activities. Responding to customer or field inquiries, assisting with Technical RFPs, and working with a cross‑functional team of PMs, SEs, Engineers as required. Influencing product roadmap and development priorities with “outside‑in” field and customer perspectives. Requirements

Extensive Experience in Enterprise IT: Minimum of 10 years of experience with 5+ years preferred in enterprise software and IT infrastructure or technical marketing, with a strong background in enterprise storage and IT applications. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in database, high‑performance computing, data protection, and AI solutions, with a track record of completing complex technical projects. Content Creation and Communication: Ability to create and share content like videos, presentations, blogs, and technical documents, with strong verbal and written communication skills tailored to various audiences. Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate within a team and cross‑functionally within the organization and technical community. Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills for diverse audiences, including C‑level executives, technical deep dives, value selling, and enablement. Preferred Qualifications

Strong background in enterprise storage and IT applications. Experience in high‑performance computing, and parallel filesystems Experience with enterprise database, virtualization, Kubernetes and data protection Experience creating content, including videos, presentations, blogs, and technical documents. Ideal candidate will be able to share examples of published work. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, tailored to the audience. Ability to lead, influence, and work within a team. Building relationships cross‑functionally within the organization and with the technical community. Strong presentation skills for a wide audience – technical deep dive, value selling, enablement. Demonstrated ability to work both individually and as a team player. Education

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with experience in public speaking and authoring technical white papers. Compensation

The target salary range for this position is $181,000-$222,000. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, Performance‑Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
