Job Description Senior Mechanical / Process Designer (Facilities) Pay: $38.46- $50.48 per hour DOE
Job Overview We are seeking a
Senior Mechanical / Process Designer
to support complex, high-tech manufacturing facilities. This role focuses on on-site field verification and the development of detailed mechanical and process design packages, including piping layouts, equipment arrangements, and P&IDs. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, project teams, and construction trades to ensure designs accurately reflect field conditions and project requirements.
Must-Have Qualifications
10+ years
of mechanical or process design experience
Extensive experience with
Revit and AutoCAD
(2D/3D modeling and drafting)
Strong background in
piping layouts, P&IDs, and equipment arrangements
Experience working in
semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing facilities
Ability to lead design scope, review models, and mentor junior designers
Willingness to work
onsite
and perform regular field walks
Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
What You’ll Do
Develop and update piping, equipment, and mechanical design packages
Perform field walks and verify as-built conditions
Produce models, plans, details, sections, and isometrics
Coordinate designs across disciplines and resolve clashes
Support constructability reviews, punch lists, and design changes
Review codes, standards, and specifications to ensure compliance
