
We are seeking a skilled Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects throughout the Knoxville region. This role requires a hands‑on, detail‑driven leader capable of managing day‑to‑day jobsite activities, maintaining safety and quality, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

retail, banking, education, restaurant, office, mixed‑use, and institutional facilities . The company is recognized for its commitment to quality, strong communication, and a client‑focused approach that emphasizes building long‑term relationships. Description Lead all onsite construction activities from mobilization through closeout. Coordinate daily work with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel. Maintain strict safety standards and ensure full OSHA compliance. Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to verify accuracy in field execution. Manage jobsite logistics, material deliveries, manpower planning, and sequencing. Resolve field issues proactively and communicate regularly with the Project Manager. Monitor quality control and ensure work is completed to company and client standards. Conduct jobsite meetings, document daily progress, and support punch‑list completion.
Profile Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects. Background working in sectors such as
retail, education, restaurant, office, or institutional construction . Strong understanding of scheduling, jobsite coordination, and subcontractor management. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Excellent communication and leadership skills for guiding field teams. A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities. Commitment to maintaining safe, clean, and well‑organized jobsites. Familiarity with the Knoxville subcontractor market (preferred).
